Full ReviewAs soon as I looked at this I thought, hang on - this is probably that vincent de moor thing people have said was coming out. I put on Side A and I am blown away by the excellent Fly Away... Sheer energy trance. Then I Put on Side B and that left me in a state of shock - such a massive tune. (Green Heaven it's called). Side C Has a rather dull mix of Fly Away which I skipped however the D Side - Sun Flowers is a nice little melodic pumper. This Dutch guy has done it again - absolutely smashing.

Full ReviewThis Guy is definately one to watch - I was a little suspicious of it because of the title and as soon as i put it on I started dancing to it as its brilliant. Reminding me Of Last Year's Enjoying My Experience by Formologic, this tune has all the trademarks of a Ferry Corsten production but makes everything seem so much better. I have no idea who this guy is but if the tunes he produces are like this then he's going to be very popular. Go Nag your local vinyl stockists for this beauty right now.

Full ReviewThis is one of those tunes that make you want to get up in the morning to. Nice and effective house tune from two proudcers who i have never heard of before. If you are strongly into 120-130 bpm house with a happy vibe then this record is the one for you. I think its really nice and I will set my alarm to play it when i wake up tomorrow morning - or i will just go back to bed instead.....

Additional Comments: Nice Baleric Chill Out Tune on one side with a more Club friendly tune on the other.

Full Review A Nice sun shine in the afternoon type tune from an artist which sounds like Sander Kleinenberg's funky stuff a bit. It has serious potential if you are into this sort of thing but I am not so keen on the slower house music - I think it is nice though and has a lovely breakdown. One that will most likely get played in Ibiza... Nice.

Don Diablo - Casa Del Diablo[Refuse RF001]

Additional Comments: Nice Drizzly Style hard house tune - good start to a new label.

Full Review Casa Del Diablo has a very cool and banging beat - as well as this it has an annoying melody and weird drum fills and different pitched sirens which will warm die-hard hard house fans hearts. Very similar to drizzly is this release and I look forward to more releases on this label.

Additional Comments: Killer reverberated club track - made me feel like I was in a club while playing it :)

Full Review Soaked full of reverb with a rap similar to Lock N Load - Blow Ya Mind, this tune has potential to rock any club even with the bass turned off!! The beat is very similar to Underworld - Born Slippy and this tune also features a gated lead. One of the tunes that will most probably be big in Ibiza. The other mixes calm down the pace slightly, So stick with the main A side... Another Smash from the dutch boys no doubt.

Jak 2 Jak - On My Nerves[Refuse RF001]

Additional Comments: This tune won't get on my nerves thats for sure - Lovely!!!

Full Review This tune is very much what I am playing at the moment. The riff is nice and mellow and this tune really kicks the spot at +8. The bassline is different to the standard dutch trance tunes and the use of the vocal when the string breaks down where it goes "NNNNNNERVES NE NE NE NE NERVES..." creates a nice atmosphere for lots to enjoy! Nice.

Full Review Generation X has redeemed himself for his well below standard mix of Fly Away. These two tunes have been released before on Rewind yet I never noticed them. What a fool I was as these two tunes are really happy and the only fault is that they both use the same sample set and do not sound that much different. Still very nich though.

Noisefloor - Ultrawave[Combined Forces CF028]

Additional Comments: Filtery tech-trance tune. Unusual release to come from combined forces - still worth a play though.

Full Review Not my sort of thing Yet this Danny Howells style tune is worth a Play. It's very odd as Combined Forces usually release more Trancier songs. The distorted saw wave bass over the breakbeat give it that tech trance feel and the tune has a very simple 1 note lead which is also very odd yet nice. This is one I'd play if i was doing more techno/tech-trance based sets.
